Swedish Physicist Nilsson Meets Kleyne To Discuss Water Research

Stanford & Stockholm University Professor Nilsson Shares Two Decades of Water Research. Nilsson & Kleyne: Scientific & Holistic Approaches To Water.

Guest: Anders Nilsson. Ph.D., Department of Physics, Stockholm University & Stanford University, http:www.su.se/English/profiles/andersn-1.186733

Professor Anders Nilsson, Ph.D., department of Physics, is a true research citizen of the world. For more than two decades now, Professor Nilsson has divided his time between labs and classrooms at Stanford University and Stockholm University. A physicist, Nilsson serves as Professor of Chemical Physics at Stockholm University; In California, he is Professor of Photon Science at Stanford University.

For twenty years, Nilsson has studied the fundamental properties and structure of liquid water and chemical energy transformations on surfaces that are, for instance, related to artificial photosynthesis. The author and co-author of more than 300 scientific papers published in journals such as Science, Nature and others, Nilsson is one of the scientists featured in the 2014 television production about the oceans, Through the Wormhole by Morgan Freeman. Professor Nilsson is also a celebrated author. In 2014 Nilsson published his first spiritual book, The Gentle Way of the Heart, which received a silver medal from the 2015 Benjamin Franklin Awards.

Water educator Sharon Kleyne has also spent more than twenty years teaching the mysteries and subtleties of water to people around the world. Kleyne’s work and that of her water research peers is of special importance in this age of global water crisis and so she was thrilled to discuss water with Professor Nilsson on her nationally syndicated The Sharon Kleyne Hour Power of Water, Global Climate Change and Your Health on VoiceAmerica sponsored by Nature’s Tears® EyeMist®.

Referring to the molecular structure of water, Nilsson lamented the fact that “we have limited technology now to study the unusual properties of water. Water is the most unique liquid on the planet. For instance, the more you cool water down, the stranger it becomes. Water is the basis of life.” Kleyne agreed, pointing out that the body is mostly water and we need to breathe the water in the air (or atmosphere) in order to live.

“That’s why it’s so important that we make water our number one infrastructure priority,” said Kleyne. “Water should also be our number one research priority,” Kleyne added. Nilsson agreed but with this cautionary note: “water is a very controversial subject,” Nilsson said. Both agreed that water is not grant-money-friendly, especially in the U.S., a fact that led Nilsson to return to Sweden part of the year to be able to continue his water research.

Nilsson also offered a scary illustration of the water crisis facing planet earth. “If you could gather up into a ball all of the water, fresh and not fresh on the earth, it would take up no more than 50 square miles. That’s not a lot of space or water,” Nilsson concluded, “and if and when it goes, that will signal the end of life here.”

Water Researcher Sharon Kleyne Salutes Birthday Of Theobald Smith

Sharon Kleyne Celebrates Clean Water Pioneer Theobald Smith. Sharon Kleyne Acknowledges America’s First Internationally Recognized Medical Research Scientist.

Water educator Sharon Kleyne’s work as a researcher has earned accolades from scientists, researchers and medical personnel around the world, so it seemed fitting that she paused on July 31st in her busy schedule to acknowledge the birth of the man who is widely considered to be America’s first internationally important medical research scientist.

Theobald Smith, born July 31st, 1859 (and died on Emily Dickinson’s birthday, December 10th, 1934), became a pioneer in pathology and epidemiology. Keenly grasping the subtleties of microbiology, Smith was fascinated by this new science’s application to public health, sanitation and preventative medicine. From 1886 to 1895, Smith taught a memorable course in Bacteriology at the National Medical College.

In 1887, Smith began his serious research into water sanitation. Smith invented the fermentation tube that is called the Smith Tube to this day. In time, he became known worldwide as the “Father of the total coliform test”, which led to safer drinking water for untold billions.

Kleyne herself has spent more than twenty years teaching the mysteries and subtleties of water and atmospheric and body water evaporation to people around the world. Host of the nationally syndicated The Sharon Kleyne Hour Power of Water, Global Climate Change and Your Health on VoiceAmerica sponsored by Nature’s Tears® EyeMist®. Kleyne would like to see new water research regain the prestige and priority it had during the life of Theobald Smith. “Researchers and scientists like Smith were visionaries,” Kleyne says, “who inspired us to push the envelope leading to new discoveries and technologies that have benefited billions of people. We need more of that and we need it now.”

Were you aware of the life of Theobald Smith? Isn’t it interesting how lives that can so deeply touch our lives on many levels can be so invisible to us? Would you like to share your thoughts about Theobald Smith? About other water pioneers? How about If you do, we’d like very much to hear from you! What Do You Think Of When You Hear The Word Dry

Water Life Science® Advocate Sharon Kleyne Probes Dryness. Sharon Kleyne Says Dryness Can Kill.

Sharon Kleyne wonders what you think of when you think of the word Dry. Do you think of the desert? Maybe you think of a blazing sun and hot sand at the beach. How about your mouth and throat after you’ve been in a sweat lodge for 30 minutes? Do you think of those first few moments right after you wake up in the morning, when your throat is parched? Perhaps Dry makes you think of being stuck in traffic on the freeway in the middle of a sweltering August day.

Sharon Kleyne, host of the syndicated radio program The Sharon Kleyne Hour Power of Water, Global Climate Change and Your Health radio program on Voice of America explains that the word DRY carries the negative connotation of dehydration due to evaporation. “Deserts are dry,” says Kleyne. “Lifeless planets are dry, and when our beautiful blue earth suffers excessive evaporation, all life on the planet is threatened.” Kleyne regularly educates people around the world that the earth’s water vapor provides the water we need to breathe in our air. Some of that water vapor also becomes ground water, which is susceptible to excessive evaporation due to pollution and climate change. These factors can also negatively impact the body’s water vapor.

When human bodies dehydrate due to excessive evaporation, they can suffer numerous diseases and illnesses including melanoma and other cancers, diabetes, allergies and maladies of the eye, such as dry eye disease. Kleyne points out that dry eye disease is a 2.1 billion dollar global industry and that billions of people worldwide suffer from it. Dry eye disease occurs when the eye’s tear film, which is 99% water, over-evaporates. When this happens, and even before, Kleyne points out, the eyes should be supplemented with replenishing moisture. Otherwise, dry eye disease can and often does lead to more serious conditions, including blindness.

The eyes are not alone in this assault of Dry. Kleyne is always pointing out that people the world over suffer from more dry skin diseases and ailments than ever before. Like the eyes, Kleyne says, “the skin should be supplemented several times a day with replenishing moisture.”

Kleyne, the founder of Bio-Logic Aqua® Research Water Life Science®, urges everybody to use her company’s signature products, the only such products on earth that consist of Trade Secret tissue culture grade water and are applied to eyes and skin not as drops, but as a patented fine micron size mist from a handheld, portable personal humidifier.

Nature’s Tears® EyeMist® is the only pure water product to treat over-evaporation of the tear film covering the eye and dry eye disease.”Eye drops and saline solutions are only temporary fixes. They can blur eyesight and increase irritation over the long run,” says Kleyne. Nature’s Mist® Face of the Water® is available for supplementing body vapor loss of the skin (70% to 76% water). In addition, Bio-Med Wash® is the first portable, non-saline, nonchemical, emergency eye, burn and wound wash product test-marketed and released worldwide. The Trade Secret tissue culture grade water that neither burns nor blurs is not administered as droplets. Instead, like the company’s other products, Bio-Med Wash® treats a wound with a painless emission from a personal, portable hand-held humidifier that is easy and even fun to use.

In closing, Kleyne reiterates: “We’re not chunks of DRY ice,” she says. “We’re not waterless stick figures made of wood or stone. We are fluid. There is nothing about our natural condition that is DRY. In fact,” Kleyne concludes, “DRY is our sworn enemy.”

Sharon Kleyne Loves Nature’s Tears® EyeMist® In China

Nature’s Tears® EyeMist® Saving Eyes in China. Water Life Science® Advocate Kleyne Fights Dry Eye in China.

In 2002, the research center at Bio-Logic Aqua® Research Water Life Science® created Natures Tears® EyeMist® for eyes that are tired and irritated due to atmospheric and human-made conditions. Specifically, Sharon Kleyne, host of the nationally syndicated radio program, The Sharon Kleyne Hour Power of Water, Global Climate Change and Your Health on VoiceAmerica, created Nature’s Tears® EyeMist® to provide much needed relief from dry eye disease.

Dry eye disease occurs when the eye’s tear film (or lens) dries out. This evaporation occurs as a result of pollution, stress, lack of sleep, too much time in front of computers and TVs, allergies, wind, sun, dust and other factors. At risk is the eye’s tear film, which is 99% water. Saline solutions and eye drops trap moisture but do not replenish what is already lost. Sufferers of dry eye disease need to supplement their eyes with a product that will vanquish dryness and restore painful, swollen, itching, tired and blurry eyes to health.

According to a 2014 National Health Interview Survey (NHIS) Preliminary Report, an estimated 22.5 million adult Americans (or nearly 10% of all adult Americans) report that they either “have trouble” seeing, even when wearing glasses or contact lenses, or that they are blind or unable to see at all. 22.5 million is a number to take very seriously, even more so when one considers that the figures escalates every day. It makes sense that catching and supplementing eyes at the dry eye stage would spare millions the grim result of going blind.

These statistics are bad, but they are even bigger in China where more than 17 percent of the total population fights dry eye symptoms. In fact, Chinese authorities recently stated that virtually the entire population of China suffers dry eye symptoms at some point in their lives.

This is why Kleyne, also the founder of Bio-Logic Aqua® Research Water Life Science®, is elated that at long last Nature’s Tears® EyeMist® has just been released throughout China. “We have wanted to make a positive difference in eye health in China for a long time,” says Kleyne, “and we’re honored and thrilled to have the opportunity to do so now.”

Nature’s Tears® EyeMist® is the only Trade Secret tissue culture grade pure water product to treat dehydration and dry eye disease as a result of over-evaporation on the planet. A unique remedy, Nature’s Tears EyeMist is applied to the eyes with a personal hand-held humidifying device emitting a patented, pH balanced, 100% water micron mist. It is endorsed by more than 22,000 ophthalmologists and optometrists nationwide (in the U.S.) and was successfully market-tested in more than 70,000 U.S. outlets.

If you have personal stories about using Nature’s Tears® EyeMist®, we invite you to share them with us. Or if you would like to try some, please let us know!

Nature’s Tears® EyeMist® & China’s Water Crisis

Water Advocate Sharon Kleyne Eager To Work with Chinese Partners on Water Education. Sharon Kleyne Applauds Chinese Efforts To Clean up Water Supplies.

The timing couldn’t be better for the arrival of Bio-Logic Aqua Research® Water Life Science’s® signature product, Nature’s Tears® EyeMist® in China. Sharon Kleyne, the company’s founder and director, calls China “the ideal market for Nature’s Tears® EyeMist®.”

Why is it the ideal market? There are a few good reasons. 17 percent of the country’s massive population suffers from symptoms of dry eye disease. Blindness is also running rampant. Cataracts and glaucoma afflict millions, especially among older Chinese. Nature’s Tears® EyeMist® will do much to provide long-term relief from all of these ailments. “The tear film of the eye is 99 percent water,” says Kleyne. “When the eye water evaporates, dry eye disease attacks with symptoms that include redness, itching, swelling, blurred vision and headaches, to name a few.” If the dry eye condition goes unchecked long enough, even blindness can occur. “It’s been projected,” says Kleyne, “that in a few years 60 million Chinese will go blind.” The best solution for eye health is to supplement them several times a day with pure water devoid of additives or chemicals. Saline solutions and conventional eye drops can provide some relief, but they can also make the situation worse. They only trap moisture on the eye; they do not replenish it. Nature’s Tears® EyeMist® is the only product on the global market that is one hundred percent pure water with no chemicals or additives. Nature’s Tears® EyeMist® consists of Trade Secret tissue culture grade water that is applied to the eyes by a portable, personal hand held humidifier delivering a patented micron mist.

But eye afflictions aren’t the only water issues challenging China. More than three decades of amazing industrial growth has left much of the country’s water polluted. In 2015, the government created an action plan aimed at cleaning up China’s waterways by 2030. China grades its water on a scale of one to five, with grades four and five suitable only for industrial and agricultural use. Water graded below four is considered safe for human use, while water graded below one is labeled Unusable. The government has spent billions of dollars testing water supplies all over the country; currently more than 70 percent of the water tested has been found safe for human consumption. The trend is moving in the right direction. But it will take time. “With air, you stop pollution at the source and the blue skies come back instantly,” said Ma Jun, director of the Institute of Public and Environmental Affairs, which monitors water pollution. “For water,” Ma continued, “you can stop pollution at the source, but you still have the polluted sediment and the soil that is going to leech into the water, and it’s going to take much longer.”

Kleyne, host of the nationally syndicated radio program, The Sharon Kleyne Hour Power of Water, Global Climate Change and Your Health on VoiceAmerica sponsored by Nature’s Tears® EyeMist®, hopes that she and her research center can assist in the ongoing process of educating the Chinese people about the need to avoid polluting water sources. She is grateful for the opportunity to offer Nature’s Tears® EyeMist® in China and she looks forward to collaborating with the Chinese on research and the development of new water technology.

Sharon Kleyne’s Advice For Living Longer

Longevity & Water Go Hand in Hand Says Sharon Kleyne. Water Is the Key to Longer Healthier Living.

Who wants to live longer? OK, don’t everybody raise your hands at once! At a time in our history when it’s hard to agree on anything, one thing we can all get together on is the desire to live a longer life. Of course, let’s qualify that by saying we mean a longer, healthy life.

Sharon Kleyne, Water Life Science® advocate and host of the nationally syndicated The Sharon Kleyne Hour Power of Water, Global Warming and Your Health radio show on VoiceAmerica sponsored by Nature’s Tears® EyeMist®, couldn’t agree more. Yet, Kleyne also cautions that unless people get a lot smarter about their health, it’s unlikely to happen.

Kleyne wants people to tune in to the simple truth that the older you get, the more water you need to stay healthy and alive. “In our fast-paced lives, people easily forget many important things,” says Kleyne, “but this oversight can kill you.” Kleyne says that everyone needs to drink 8 to 10 glasses of water a day. “Don’t just sip them,” Kleyne urges. “Drink them down completely to get the full benefit.”

Kleyne also wants people young and old, in shape or out of shape, to understand that optimum health can only be achieved if they take personal responsibility for replenishing the body’s water vapor, which is essential to all life. It’s literally in the air we breathe, and it is in the body, too. “The lenses of our eyes are 99% water,” says Kleyne; “your brain is 80% to 85 % water; your lungs are 75% to 80% water; your heart, liver, kidneys, skin and muscles are 70% to 75% water; your blood is 50% water. Even your bones are 25% water. What does that make you? It makes you a walking sponge! And what happens to a sponge when it’s set aside without water for too long? It dries out; it gets rigid and useless.”

Kleyne explains that the moment a baby leaves its mother’s watery womb, a process of evaporation begins that continues until death. To stay alive and thrive, a human must supplement diminishing body water vapor by drinking water and by misting skin and eyes with pure water. This is the only sustainable way to balance out the natural evaporation process and maintain good health.

Of course, other activities assist health, too. “Everyone needs to manage stress better,” Kleyne points out. “People need to learn how to relax while drinking lots of water, eating and sleeping properly, and breathing. Don’t forget to breathe!” “There is no longevity without hydration,” says Kleyne, “and that means water, water, water.” Kleyne is a fan of moderate exercise including Qi Gong, Tai Chi and yoga. She also suggests eating lots of leafy green vegetables and staying away from sugar and processed foods. “Sugar is your enemy,” says Kleyne.
