Sharon Kleyne Asks What’s In Your Eye?

Radio Host Sharon Kleyne Warns Against Eye Touching. Water Life Science® Advocate Sharon Kleyne Fights Dry Eye Disease.

Sharon Kleyne, America’s leading water educator, researcher and advocate and the host of the nationally syndicated radio program, The Sharon Kleyne Hour Power of Water, Global Climate Change and Your Health on Voice of America, has a simple question for you: ‘What’s in your eyes?’ A simple and not uncommon answer is ‘my fingers!’ “Unfortunately,” says Kleyne, “this is all too true. I can’t tell you the exact number of times that we stick our fingers in our eyes each day, but it’s a lot more than we should.”

Sharon Kleyne, founder of Bio-Logic Aqua® Research Water Life Science®, has earned an international reputation as the global expert on dehydration of the eyes and skin due to excessive evaporation of the body’s water vapor, and she knows what she’s talking about with regard to touching your eyes with your fingers. Kleyne knows that dirty fingers contribute to eye dehydration, and that one must supplement eyes and skin on a daily basis to replenish the evaporating water vapor. Of course, the purer the water is, the better it will be for the person supplementing skin and eyes with it. Nature’s Tears® EyeMist®, the research center’s global signature product, provides a pure fresh water mist; applied with a personal, portable, hand held humidifying device to soothe dry, inflamed eye complaints without pain or fuss.

“Dry, red, itching, burning, gritty and/or scratchy eyes, and eye allergies,” says Sharon Kleyne, “are common symptoms of dry eye syndrome, a dehydration disease that worldwide represents a massive public health crisis that can lead to blindness. In the United States,” Kleyne continues, “dry eye symptoms are the #1 reason for eye doctor visits. The best way to avoid dry eye is to become educated on the subject. The second-best way to avoid it is to keep your fingers out of your eyes!” Whether you see the doctor or not, it is important to be aware that symptoms such as itching, burning, scratchy or gritty eyes, eye allergies, inability to tolerate contact lenses, and eye discomfort associated with computer and television use often signals a potentially serious dry eye problem.

Concerned about the global dry eye crisis, Sharon Kleyne has conducted extensive personal research on dry eye and personal healthy and unhealthy habits, and both are frequently highlighted on her radio show. “My show is about water and dehydration diseases and dry eye definitely qualifies,” Kleyne explains. “Dry eye’s defining symptom is too little water in the eye’s protective tear film, which is naturally 99 percent water. Dry eye almost always has multiple causes,” Kleyne continues, “the most important of which is a dry or polluted environment. Dry air, polluted air, forced air heating and cooling, insulated walls and windows and solar radiation all contribute to dry eye. Diet is also an important factor. Kleyne has interviews many of the world’s leading dry eye experts on her program. “The goal is not to become a textbook,” Kleyne explains. “We try to present real people talking about their own experiences in a way that anyone can understand.”

According to Sharon Kleyne, the water inside our body, eyes and skin is the first line of defense against the onslaught of disease. That’s why doctors tell sick people to “drink plenty of water and wash hands.” When people become ill, their body, eyes and skin lose water and become dehydrated. Dehydration symptoms frequently begin at common disease entry points such as eyes and mouth. “It is important to note,” says Kleyne, “that common eye complaints, such as itching, burning, redness and watery eyes, are identical to the most common complaints in the disease called ‘dry eye disease.’ Research proves that touching the eye area with fingers triggers many of these symptoms.”

Sharon Kleyne recommends, for convenient and all-natural relief of dry eye symptoms a soothing, all-natural, pH balanced fresh water mist such as Nature’s Tears® EyeMist®. The application will conveniently supplement the tear film’s diminished water content, alleviate tear film dehydration and relieve dry eye and flu eye complaints.

“I love to educate people around the world about the sinister consequences of dry eye disease and the growing global water crisis,” says Sharon Kleyne “and the health dangers associated with dehydration due to excess evaporation of the earth’s water vapor. In doing so,” Kleyne says, “I remind people to wash their hands and keep their fingers out of their eyes. I also encourage them to create a new, healthy Water Life Science® lifestyle.” Kleyne wants readers, consumers, listeners and other interested parties to visit http://www.biologicaqua.com for more information about this new water technology and water lifestyle. “Get educated,” says Kleyne, “and let’s take the fingers and the dry out of eyes once and for all!”

Sharon Kleyne Defeats Dry Eye Disease With Moisture Supplement

Water Advocate Sharon Kleyne Tells Dry Eye Disease To Dry Up. Sharon Kleyne Wants Dry Eye Disease Exposed & Eliminated.

Sharon Kleyne, America’s leading water researcher, advocate and host of the nationally syndicated radio program, The Sharon Kleyne Hour Power of Water, Global Climate Change and Your Health on Voice America believes that not enough people really understand what is going on with dry eye disease. “As a result,” Kleyne insists, “many of these people will go blind.”

If this sounds like an exaggeration, you’d be wise to think again. Dry eye disease costs more than a billion dollars a year. In the U.S., 30 million people are afflicted annually; in China, 250 million people suffer each year from dry eye disease. “The problem,” says Kleyne, “is that people just don’t understand the fragility of the human eye. Many never understand it until it is too late.” Kleyne reminds us that the tear lens of the eye is 99 percent water in its natural state. In order to maintain that level of moisture, a person must supplement the tear film several times a day.

Sharon Kleyne enjoys an international reputation as the global expert on dehydration of earth’s fresh water and dehydration of the eyes and skin as a result of the excessive evaporation of the body’s water vapor. “From the moment we leave our mother’s water-womb and are born,” Kleyne reveals, “we begin to evaporate/ We dry out in a process that continues until we die. In order to sustain excellent health and prolong life,” Kleyne continued, “one must supplement eyes and skin on a daily basis. This must be done to replenish the evaporating water vapor.”

Sharon Kleyne, who founded Bio-Logic Aqua® Research Water Life Science® more than two decades ago, says she is aggressively stepping up her efforts to educate people about the dangers and supplementation of dry eye disease, the current global water crisis and the health dangers associated with dehydration due to excess evaporation of the earth’s and the body’s water vapor. As she loves to do, Kleyne encourages people to experience a new, healthy Water Life Science® lifestyle and visit http://www.biologicaqua.com for more information. “I am committed,” says Kleyne, “to new water research and technology that supplements and replenishes the earth’s and the body’s water vapor.

Sharon Kleyne points out that Nature’s Tears® EyeMist®, a product developed by her research center, is applied with a personal hand-held humidifying device emitting a pure, pH balanced, 100% Trade Secret tissue culture grade water in a patented micron mist. It is the only product of its kind on the international market, Kleyne says, that supplements the eye’s tear film. Kleyne also says that it is endorsed by more than 22,000 ophthalmologists and optometrists nationwide. The product was successfully test-marketed in more than 70,000 outlets.

“With Natures Tears® EyeMist®,” Sharon Kleyne asserts, “tired and irritated eyes are supplemented with pure water, and that’s what eyes challenged by dry eye symptoms need. Eye drops may provide some temporary chemical relief,” Kleyne says, “but eye drops can and often do become addictive; they can even make the dry eye condition worse. Why? Because eye drops only trap moisture on the eye’s tear lens; they do not supplement the tear lens. Nature’s Tears® EyeMist® does supplement the tear lens.” Dry eye symptoms include blurred vision, redness, burning, itching, stinging, a gritty sensation and watery eyes. These symptoms are triggered by a number of causes including pollution, allergies, post-menopausal changes, windy conditions, computer use, reading, television viewing and artificial environments (air conditioning, central heating).

“As we sail into our second decade of broadcasting,” Sharon Kleyne said, “I and my research center will show up every day to educate the world’s population about dry eye disease and what we must do to get rid of it.”

Sharon Kleyne Begins Second Decade on Radio

Water Advocate Sharon Kleyne Educates the World about Water. Dry Eye Foe Sharon Kleyne Shares New Water Research & Technology.

Sharon Kleyne, America’s leading water researcher, advocate and host of the nationally syndicated radio program, The Sharon Kleyne Hour Power of Water, Global Climate Change and Your Health on Voice America, has a lot to celebrate as her radio program recently launched its second decade on air. The program continues to be the most important water education show in the world.

“It feels like we started the show only yesterday,” Sharon Kleyne reminisced, “yet here it is the beginning of our eleventh year on the air!” Kleyne’s international reputation as the global expert on dehydration of earth’s fresh water and dehydration of the eyes and skin as a result of the excessive evaporation of the body’s water vapor is acknowledged by researchers, scientists, teachers and medical workers around the world. This is so because Kleyne never sets aside her self-imposed responsibility as a teacher. “From the moment we leave our mother’s water-womb and are born,” Kleyne said, “we begin to evaporate, or dry out, a process that continues until we die. In order to sustain excellent health and prolong life,” Kleyne continued, “one must supplement eyes and skin on a daily basis. This must be done to replenish the evaporating water vapor.”

Sharon Kleyne has been educating people for years about the dangers and supplementation of dry eye disease, which costs more than a billion dollars a year globally, the current global water crisis and the health dangers associated with dehydration due to excess evaporation of the earth’s and the body’s water vapor. As she loves to do, Kleyne encouraged people to experience a new, healthy Water Life Science® lifestyle and visit http://www.biologicaqua.com for more information.

Bio-Logic Aqua® Research Water Life Science®, which Sharon Kleyne founded more than two decades ago, remains committed to new water research and technology that supplements and replenishes earth’s and the body’s water vapor. Nature’s Tears® EyeMist®, for example, is applied with a personal hand-held humidifying device emitting a pure, pH balanced, 100% Trade Secret tissue culture grade water in a patented micron mist. It is the only product on the international market, Kleyne points out, that supplements the eye’s tear film, which is 99 percent water. Kleyne also pointed out that it is endorsed by more than 22,000 ophthalmologists and optometrists nationwide. The product was successfully test-marketed in more than 70,000 outlets.

“With Natures Tears® EyeMist®,” Sharon Kleyne said, “tired and irritated eyes are supplemented with pure water, and that’s what eyes challenged by dry eye symptoms need. Why?” Kleyne asked. “Because eye drops only trap moisture on the eye’s tear lens; they do not supplement the tear lens. Nature’s Tears® EyeMist® does supplement the tear lens.”

Sharon Kleyne was quick to point out that dry eye disease far and away exceeds all other diseases that ophthalmologists and optometrists diagnose and treat each year, and the numbers continue to spiral out of control with aging populations. Dry eye disease, for example, afflicts more than 30 million Americans a year and an astonishing 250 million Chinese each year. Dry eye symptoms include blurred vision, redness, burning, itching, stinging, a gritty sensation and watery eyes. These symptoms are triggered by a number of causes including pollution, allergies, post-menopausal changes, windy conditions, computer use, reading, television viewing and artificial environments (air conditioning, central heating).

“As we move forward into our second decade of broadcasting,” Sharon Kleyne said, “our research center will show up every day to continue to educate the world’s population about the water crises we all face and the things we can do together to turn them around through new water technology. Meanwhile,” Kleyne concluded, “be sure to tune in!”

Sharon Kleyne Shares Wards Island Sewage Dump’s 33rd Anniversary

Water Advocate Sharon Kleyne Celebrates Historic Moment in Pollution Clean-up. Radio Host Sharon Kleyne Remembers Wards Island Sewage Crisis.

Sharon Kleyne, host of the nationally syndicated radio program, The Sharon Kleyne Hour Power of Water, Global Climate Change and Your Health on Voice America and America’s leading water researcher and advocate well remembers the week-long water crisis that ended at Wards Island just after the first of the year in 1983.

“On January 4th,” Sharon Kleyne said, “a new valve burst at the Wards Island sewage treatment plant. The consequence of that equipment failure was the discharge of 300 million gallons of raw sewage a day into the Hudson, Harlem and East Rivers.” Kleyne revealed that the cost to repair the plant exceeded $330,000., but it was not the accident or the cost that Kleyne most remembers. She took away other valuable lessons that are more relevant than ever today. “As we struggle to get politicians and business leaders to commit to making water the number one infrastructure priority in the world,” Kleyne said, “I would like everyone to reflect on the successful collaboration that solved the Wards Island crisis. It could have been so much worse than it was, ultimately.”

Sharon Kleyne, who has earned an international reputation as the global expert on dehydration of earth’s fresh water and dehydration of the eyes and skin as a result of the excessive evaporation of the body’s and earth’s water vapor, is keenly aware of the need for advanced research and the development of new technology in water science. “From the moment we leave our mother’s water-womb and are born,” Kleyne said, “we begin to evaporate, or dry out, a process that continues until we die. In order to sustain excellent health and prolong life,” Kleyne continued, “one must supplement eyes and skin with pH balanced, pure water on a daily basis. This must be done to replenish the evaporating water vapor.” Kleyne is constantly educating people about the current global water crisis and the health dangers associated with dehydration due to excess evaporation of the earth’s water vapor. As she loves to do, Kleyne encouraged people to experience a new, healthy Water Life Science® lifestyle and visit http://www.biologicaqua.com for more information about how to do just that.

Returning to the historical crisis at Wards Island, Sharon Kleyne offered as a stellar example of cooperation under duress the amazing work of the Wards Island first responders. She remembered the eye-witness account of Fred DiSisto, a twenty-year plant operating engineer. “Staff operated out of the kitchen,” DiSisto reported. “It kind of turned into a holiday atmosphere,” he continued. “Everybody was all pumped up. It broke the routine.” Other workers estimated that more than 50 pounds of coffee were consumed in that kitchen during the last four days of the crisis; staff slept there, too, and worked twelve-hour shifts. Officials had pointed out that sewage had to be released into the rivers from 52 regulators in Manhattan and 36 regulators in the Bronx in order to avoid a backup at the plant, which would have led to the flooding of sewage into area homes.

“In other words,” Sharon Kleyne pointed out, “a major health crisis, which would have resulted in thousands of deaths, was avoided because workers and technicians co-creatively came together to solve the problem and did not rest until they were successful.” Kleyne insisted that this is exactly the kind of cooperation and selflessness that is required today to ensure that healthy drinking water is available for everyone. “Clean water equals health,” said Kleyne, “and new water research and technology require inspired cooperation.”

Sharon Kleyne Says China IP Protection Effort A Good Model

Sharon Kleyne Commends China’s IP Pirating Crackdown on Radio Show. Radio Host Sharon Kleyne Encourages China’s Attack on Counterfeiters.

American water advocate and researcher, Sharon Kleyne, has spent years guiding the company she founded and directs, Bio-Logic Aqua® Research Water Life Science®, to the point where its signature product, Natures Tears® EyeMist®, would enter the vast Chinese marketplace. The time has come as 2017 begins, but this long anticipated expansion has not unfolded without challenges. For example, Kleyne called admiring attention on her radio program to China’s effort to clean up a major international scandal that threatens the global economy.

Sharon Kleyne, host of the nationally syndicated radio program, The Sharon Kleyne Hour Power of Water, Global Climate Change and Your Health on Voice America, encouraged Chinese leaders and business people to ramp up their attacks on unscrupulous counterfeiters who flood Chinese markets with inferior, knock-off products. “This kind of counterfeiting,” said Kleyne, “is the ultimate attack against the protection and integrity of a country’s or a company’s IP, and it must be stopped.” Fortunately, Kleyne points out, that is beginning to happen as Chinese officials and leaders of major enterprises (such as Jack Ma at Ali Baba) aggressively file lawsuits against counterfeiters. Eventually, these criminals will be punished and driven out of business.

This can’t happen too soon to benefit China’s booming economy. “China’s vast middle class is growing exponentially,” said Kleyne, “and with that growth comes more sophisticated taste. For instance,” Kleyne continued, “Chinese consumers realize now that cheaper, knock-off counterfeit products possess much less quality than the real thing. Those consumers want the real thing, and they want to be protected against IP pirates.”

Sharon Kleyne is always educating people about the dangers and supplementation of dry eye disease, the current global water crisis and the health dangers associated with dehydration due to excess evaporation of the earth’s water vapor. Kleyne consistently encourages people to experience a new, healthy Water Life Science® lifestyle and visit http://www.biologicaqua.com for more information. She also urged her listeners to educate themselves about the perils of counterfeiting and IP abuse. “Quality products can be hard to come by,” said Kleyne, “when counterfeiters and IP thieves are allowed to run wild.” Yet now, Kleyne says that she is increasingly optimistic about the steps she sees being taken by the Chinese government and business leaders.

For more than two decades, Sharon Kleyne has earned an international reputation as the global expert on dehydration of earth’s fresh water and dehydration of the eyes and skin as a result of the excessive evaporation of the body’s water vapor. “From the moment we leave our mother’s water-womb and are born,” Kleyne said, “we begin to evaporate, or dry out, a process that continues until we die. In order to sustain excellent health and prolong life,” Kleyne continued, “one must supplement eyes and skin on a daily basis. This must be done to replenish the evaporating water vapor.” Kleyne reminded her radio audience, for example, that dry eye disease exceeds all other diseases that ophthalmologists and optometrists diagnose and treat each year, and the numbers continue to climb with aging populations. Dry eye afflicts more than 30 million Americans and an astonishing 250 million Chinese each year. Dry eye symptoms include blurred vision, redness, burning, itching, stinging, a gritty sensation and watery eyes. These symptoms are triggered by a number of causes including pollution, allergies, post-menopausal changes, windy conditions, computer use, reading, television viewing and artificial environments (air conditioning, central heating). Dry eye disease occurs when the tear film lens, which is 99% water, loses moisture due to evaporation.

“Protecting our IP,” Sharon Kleyne said, “has allowed us to develop quality products that supplement the eyes and skin. For instance,” she said, “Nature’s Tears® EyeMist® is applied with a personal hand-held humidifying device emitting a pure, pH balanced, 100% Trade Secret tissue culture grade water in a patented micron mist.” Nature’s Tears® EyeMist® is the only product on the international market that supplements the eye’s tear film, which is 99 percent water, and it is endorsed by more than 22,000 ophthalmologists and optometrists nationwide. The product was successfully test-marketed in more than 70,000 outlets. As this product launches in China, Kleyne said she was thrilled to see the government crack down on potential knock-off artists and counterfeiters. “Everyone benefits,” said Kleyne, “especially consumers.”

Sharon Kleyne Attacks Dry, Itchy Eyes

Radio Host Sharon Kleyne Exposes Dry Eye Symptoms. Water Life Science® Advocate Sharon Kleyne Spells Relief for Dry Eye Sufferers.

Sharon Kleyne, America’s leading water educator, researcher and advocate and the host of the nationally syndicated radio program, The Sharon Kleyne Hour Power of Water, Global Climate Change and Your Health on Voice of America, is no fan of dry eye symptoms.

“Dry, red, itching, burning, gritty and/or scratchy eyes, and eye allergies,” says Sharon Kleyne, “are common symptoms of dry eye syndrome, a dehydration disease that worldwide, represents a massive public health crisis that can lead to blindness. In the United States,” Kleyne continued, “dry eye symptoms are the #1 reason for eye doctor visits. The best way to avoid dry eye is to become educated on the subject.” Although dry eye symptoms constitute the number one complaint heard by eye doctors the world over, the majority of people experiencing symptoms (which is nearly everyone) seldom go to a doctor. Only when symptoms interfere with their lives do individuals seek medical advice and help. Whether you see the doctor or not, it is important to be aware that symptoms such as itching, burning, scratchy or gritty eyes, eye allergies, inability to tolerate contact lenses, and eye discomfort associated with computer and television use often signals a potentially serious dry eye problem.

Concerned about the global dry eye crisis, Sharon Kleyne has conducted extensive personal research on dry eye, and dry eye is frequently highlighted on her radio show.

Sharon Kleyne, founder of Bio-Logic Aqua® Research Water Life Science®, has earned an international reputation as the global expert on dehydration of the eyes and skin due to excessive evaporation of the body’s water vapor. “From the moment we leave our mother’s water-womb and are born,” Kleyne said, “we begin a process of evaporation that continues until death. In order to sustain excellent health,” she went on, “one must supplement eyes and skin on a daily basis to replenish the evaporating water vapor. Of course, the purer the water is, the better it will be for the person supplementing skin and eyes with it.” Nature’s Tears® EyeMist®, the research center’s global signature product, provides a pure fresh water mist; applied with a personal, portable, hand held humidifying device,; to instantly soothe flu eye complaints.

According to Sharon Kleyne, the water inside our body, eyes and skin is the first line of defense against the onslaught of disease. That’s why doctors tell sick people to “drink plenty of water.” When people become ill, their body, eyes and skin lose water and become dehydrated. Dehydration symptoms frequently begin at common disease entry points such as eyes and mouth. “It is important to note,” says Kleyne, “that common eye complaints during flu, such as itching, burning, redness and watery eyes, are identical to the most common complaints in the disease called ‘dry eye disease.’ That’s because flu eye is, essentially, dry eye.”

Watery eyes, Sharon Kleyne explains, are also a frequent dry eye symptom. They occur, in a dry eye patient, as a result of “reflex tearing” as the eyes’ attempt to compensate for the loss of water content in the basal tear film. Kleyne’s suggestions for avoiding ‘dry eye” discomfort include:

1. Avoid rubbing the eyes or putting fingers in mouth
2. Wash hands frequently
3. Drink 8 to 10 full glasses of pure water each day, in addition to all other fluid intake.
4. Open windows occasionally to let in fresh, humid air, free of re-circulated bacteria-laden skin particles.
5. In home or office, arrange for 40% to 50% relative humidity* at 65 to 70 degrees.
6. Treat yourself to frequent long, soothing baths and/or showers.
7. Make a ritual of daily facial cleansing. Using a washcloth and very mild, liquid soap, spend several minutes repeatedly applying hot water compresses to the eyes and face.

Sharon Kleyne also recommends, for convenient and all-natural relief of dry eye symptoms, a soothing, all-natural, pH balanced fresh water mist such as Nature’s Tears® EyeMist®. The application will conveniently supplement the tear film’s diminished water content, alleviate tear film dehydration and relieve dry eye and flu eye complaints.

“I am always educating people around the world about the sinister consequences of dry eye disease and the growing global water crisis,” says Sharon Kleyne “and the health dangers associated with dehydration due to excess evaporation of the earth’s water vapor. In doing so,” Kleyne says, “we learn what we need to know to create a new, healthy Water Life Science® lifestyle.” Kleyne encourages readers, listeners and other interested parties to visit http://www.biologicaqua.com for more information about this new water technology and water lifestyle. “Get educated,” says Kleyne, “and let’s take the dry out of eye once and for all!”

Sharon Kleyne Promotes Eye Gland Education

Water Advocate Sharon Kleyne Says Lack of Eye Gland Education Can Cause Dry Eye. Radio Host Sharon Kleyne Points to Tear Gland Regeneration in Mice.

Sharon Kleyne. Host of the nationally syndicated radio program, The Sharon Kleyne Hour Power of Water, Global Climate Change and Your Health on Voice America, is acknowledged around the world as America’s leading water researcher and the international expert on dry eye disease. Yet, Kleyne is concerned that people seldom pay attention to the tiny glands around their eyes. When these glands do not function properly, they can cause numerous eye problems, including dry eye disease. Of special interest to Kleyne is a study of mice eyes. The tear gland regeneration research project was conducted by Dr. Tashaki Tsuji at Tokyo University of Science (www.ScienceDaily.com, “Researchers regenerate a fully functioning bioengineered lachrymal gland,” October 2, 2013).

According to Sharon Kleyne, the single most common category of complaints heard by United States eye doctors are symptoms related to dry eye syndrome such as itching, burning or frequently tired eyes, occasionally blurred vision, or headaches, watery eyes and eye allergies. Ignoring these symptoms can lead to considerable discomfort, chronic dry eye, impaired vision and even blindness. Dry eye complaints, says Kleyne, usually indicate either insufficient water in the eyes’ basal tear film or insufficient lipid production. For optimal vision health, the tear film covering the eyes’ surface must be maintained at 98% water. Lipids from the meibomian glands prevent tear film water from evaporating.

Illness, eye allergies, physical dehydration or environmental conditions such as dry or polluted air or humidity, Sharon Kleyne explains, can dehydrate the eyes and the body. This eventually leads to impaired lachrymal glands, a major cause of dry eye. In addition, dry facial skin, especially dry, flaky or inflamed eyelids, can cause the meibomian glands to not function properly; this can also lead to dry eye symptoms. According to Kleyne, tear-producing lachrymal glands sit next to and above the eyeball. Nerves controlling lachrymal glands are more complex than those controlling meibomian glands. The emotional drive for tearing is mediated through the seventh cranial nerve. The lachrymal gland contains estrogen, prolactin, androgen, insulin and other hormone receptors.

Tears produced by lachrymal glands, Sharon Klyene notes, consist of water, salt (electrolyte), protein, antibodies, growth factors and enzymes. All are essential to the health of the epithelium, the clear membrane covering the white of the eye, called the “sclera,” and the clear part of the eye, called the “cornea.” Meibomian glands, says Kleyne, resemble elongated grape clusters. Glands express oil into a central duct that discharges onto the eyelid margin. Ducts can undergo keratinization (hardening) when surrounding tissue is inflamed, thereby blocking the duct. Keratinization can occur due to both chronic obstructive meibomian gland dysfunction and bacterial blepharitis (eyelid inflammation.

To optimize eye gland health, Sharon Kleyne recommends drinking at least eight-to-ten glasses of pure water each day, in addition to all other fluids, and making a concerted effort to keep the eye surface and the facial skin fully moisturized and humidified with pure water. According to Kleyne, Nature’s Tears® EyeMist® effectively supplements lost moisture in the tear film, eyelid and facial skin. Nature’s Tears® EyeMist® is applied with a personal hand-held humidifying device emitting a pure, pH balanced, 100% Trade Secret tissue culture grade water in a patented micron mist. Nature’s Tears® EyeMist® is endorsed by more than 22,000 ophthalmologists and optometrists nationwide and was successfully test-marketed in more than 70,000 outlets. With Natures Tears® EyeMist®, Kleyne explains, tired or irritated eyes are supplemented with pure water, and that’s exactly what eyes challenged by dry eye symptoms need.

By keeping eyes and eye glands healthy, Sharon Kleyne concludes, you will most likely never have to concern yourself with regenerated bio-engineered tear glands. Kleyne works tirelessly to educate people about the current global water crisis and the health dangers associated with dehydration due to excess evaporation of the earth’s water vapor. In doing so, Kleyne encourages people to experience a new, healthy Water Life Science® lifestyle and visit http://www.biologicaqua.com for more information.
