Earth Day Advocates Robert Weir & Sharon Kleyne Celebrate Earth Day Advances on Kleyne Talk Radio. Earth Day #49 Observed with Special Events in More than 190 Countries Worldwide.
Robert Weir, Earth Day advocate and author of Peace, Justice, Care of Earth and 15 other books, is an extensive traveler who considers himself a citizen of the world. On his global jaunts, “Water is the only essential element on earth.” Yet, one in every three people lives in water-poor countries. That is why celebrations of water and the natural world are so necessary to life itself. Especially to water that is the breath of life. “Nature-based celebrations are natural to us,” says Weir. “Celebrations help us tap back into the rhythm of a butterfly’s wings, the rhythm of a breeze, the rhythm of running water and the oceans, the rhythm of life.”
Weir recently joined Water Life Science® inventor Sharon Kleyne, to talk about the 45th Earth Day event on Kleyne’s internationally syndicated weekly The Sharon Kleyne Hour Water Life Science®/Nature’s Pharma®, The Power of Water® & Your Health sponsored by Nature’s Tears® EyeMist® on VoiceAmerica produced by Rose Hong, founder/director of Global Dragon TV in Washington, D.C.
Despite the often gloomy news that dominates many discussions of the environment, there is also some good news to share, according to Power of Water® leader Kleyne, who teaches that “water is a species. It’s alive,” and what more natural than that we should share good environmental news on Earth Day!
According to a 2018 study by University of Maryland researchers that appeared in Nature, the global tree canopy cover increased by 2.24 million square kilometers (865,000 square miles) between 1982 and 2016. In the same time frame, tree canopy in Europe and European Russia has increased by 35 percent, while the tree canopy in the U.S. has increased by 34 percent and in China by 15 percent.
More good news can be found at the Environmental Protection Agency, which reports that between 1980 and 2017, emissions of carbon monoxide fell by 72 percent, lead by 99 percent, nitrous oxides by 61 percent, compounds from automobile exhaust associated with ozone by 54 percent, sulfur dioxide by 89 percent and particulates by 61 percent.
Water Life Science® creator Kleyne also wants people to remember, whether they are in a good or bad mood, that water in earth’s atmosphere is the Breath of Life®, making it possible for all living things to thrive on earth. Yet, Kleyne also educates listeners and readers that dehydration, a natural process that begins the moment a baby leaves its mother’s watery womb, continues until death and impacts health if 100 percent Trade Secret pure water supplementation is not maintained. Perhaps most important of all is Kleyne’s consistent message that people everywhere must become more proactive about their health by learning all that they can about water.
