Peggy Kinst Says Getting Older Can Be Graceful & Fun

Aging Can Feel & Look Ageless Says Peggy Kinst & Sharon Kleyne. Recovery from Near-Fatal Illness Spurred Kinst to Longer Healthier Life.

Guest: Peggy Kinst

Peggy Kinst knows what it’s like to come close to death. Formerly a literature professor at Northwestern University, Kinst struggled with deteriorating health and eventually received a terrible diagnosis. She suffered from intense intestinal disease and her prospects looked quite dim.

Like so many who have faced such news and such a predicament, Kinst had to weigh many options and make some serious choices. Did she stick with her hospital doctors and pursue a conventional program of treatment? Did she seek out holistic healers exclusively? Or did she pursue a program that combined the two?

Sharon Kleyne, host of the syndicated radio program The Sharon Kleyne Hour Power of Water, Global Climate Change and Your Health on VoiceAmerica sponsored by Nature’s Tears® EyeMist®, was fascinated to learn that her longtime colleague had not only recovered her health but discovered her life calling, too.

Rather than consign herself to the care of conventional medicine and physicians, Kinst developed a practice of yoga, Nia and Jazzercise. She discovered that music encouraged healing states of cognition and joy. She also took on her own diet, refining the way she ate, what she ate and how she relaxed. Eventually, Kinst became a certified teacher of free movement dance, a Bio-composition specialist and a Myers-Briggs counselor. At Ageless Grace, Kinst teaches twenty-one movement tools for the twenty-one factors of aging that everyone who ages experiences. Today, Ageless Grace includes 1,600 educators working in seventeen countries and throughout the United States.

Kinst has long agreed with Kleyne about the impact on aging of over-evaporation and dehydration. “Every living thing is like a battery,” Kleyne said, describing how humans must recycle water vapor to complete the connection and receive the benefit of the life-giving atmospheric energy charge. Kleyne described the wavy circle of water vapor that surrounds the planet and the fact that the moment one leaves the watery womb of the mother, one begins to dehydrate through natural evaporation. Especially vulnerable are the eyes, which are 99% water. Our eyes are constantly drying out and until recently, most treated this irritation with chemically-based eye drops that offered only temporary relief and actually contributed to ongoing discomfort. Kinst in her work with aging people everywhere is always delighted to endorse Kleyne’s Nature’s Tears® EyeMist®, the only personal hand-held humidifier emitting a pure, pH balanced, 100% patented micron-size mist for dry eyes. Nature’s Tears® EyeMist® is endorsed by more than 22,000 ophthalmologists and optometrists nationwide.

“Older people are always excited to learn that they can change their bodies and their brains,” said Kinst. “Every time one tackles a new activity or considers a new idea, the brain begins to build new neural pathways, and this activity staves off dementia, Alzheimer’s and other manifestations of aging.”

“That makes me think of my work with children,” Kleyne added. “Think of how we all feel more relaxed when we stand upright and move our arms away from our bodies. The movement builds Collengin and expels the stress hormone Cortisol. Yet, to receive the ultimate benefit of this and other activities, we must be hydrated.”

Liver Doc Brendan Gaughran Shares Healthy Liver Secrets

The Liver Is the Great Regulator Says Dr. Gaughran. Liver Law Enforcement Keeps Us Healthy.

Do you know that your liver is 85% water? Brendan Gaughran, affectionately known as ‘The Liver Doc”, knows and so does Sharon Kleyne, host of the nationally syndicated The Sharon Kleyne Hour Power of Water, Global Climate Change and Your Health on VoiceAmerica sponsored by Nature’s Tears® EyeMist®. Gaughran, the charismatic president of Liver Medic (, spoke with Kleyne about the importance of water and its impact on a healthy liver.

Gaughran, a molecular biologist who migrated from a genetic studies career to a new one concentrating on the liver, did so after a series of health challenges confronted his family and friends. Noting Kleyne’s groundbreaking work in water research and technology, Gaughran said “water is the basis for everything, including health.” Gaughran, who has owned three successful supplements companies, also routinely goes after contemporary health-challenging culprits such as chemicals, GMOs and pollutants in the food and water supply. “These toxins cause cancer, fatty liver, obesity and diabetes, among other serious ailments,” he said.

The liver is the first responder against unhealthy body invasions and it carries out its work in two stages. In the first stage—subtraction—the liver examines the foreign body to determine its identity and toxicity. In the second stage—detoxification—the liver, the body’s special forces, goes on the attack and breaks these down. The liver’s success in defeating and eliminating the invading toxins depends, in large part, on two things: antioxidants in the body, and the presence of lots of clean water. “Unfortunately,” Gaughran said, “some of today’s powerful toxins can change a body’s DNA and hormones. When that happens, the liver must work extra-hard to destroy those toxins.” Gaughran explained that this is where the liver’s renal connection to the kidneys is especially important. “Without lots of clean water,” he said, the kidneys will be compromised and fail to work to peak efficiency.” It is so important to protect the close, collaborative relationship between one’s liver and kidneys.

Sharon Kleyne, the founder of Bio-Logic Aqua® Research Water Life Science®, agrees with Gaughran and touts the importance of education about water and liver function. “Everyone should consider the fact that water research needs to be revived to avert even bigger global disasters. Remember,” said Kleyne, “that our organs are mostly water. Our eyes are 99% water; the brain is 80-85% water; blood is 50% water; bones are 20% water. The liver itself is 80-85% water.” For more than thirty years, Kleyne has researched water and focused on understanding the evaporation of the human body’s loss of water vapor. “We must supplement the body’s water vapor every day,” said Kleyne, “in order to achieve optimal health.” Kleyne and Gaughran agree that earth faces an epic water crisis that is often ignored by government leaders and citizens in general. Gaughran and Kleyne urge the United Nations to become more proactive, creating new programs and new technology, making water the centerpiece of research and education.

“The liver’s main function is getting rid of toxins,” Gaughran said, repeating the message he shares as a public speaker with audiences around the world. “The liver is the body’s regulator. One must drink clean water for the liver to operate at its highest level, and always drink enough of it.”

Would you like to share your thoughts on the liver, on your liver? How about new water research and new technology? Are you drinking enough water to maintain optimal liver health?
