Dr. Effie Chow & Sharon Kleyne Explain The Breath Of Life

Water Advocate Kleyne Teaches Breath of Life to World Populace. Breath of Life Is Atmosphere’s Water Vapor.

You have probably heard the expression, ‘the breath of life’, but what is it? Some people just think it’s the process of breathing, but they mistake the means for the content. Others think that the breath of life refers to some spiritual presence or lesson, but that also misses the mark. International researcher and educator Sharon Kleyne has talked about the breath of life for decades and she wants to clear up any confusion that might exist.

“The breath of life,” says Kleyne, “is water. Without the water in earth’s atmosphere, we could not breathe; we could not go on living. The breath of life is essential to all life on earth.” Kleyne refers to her colleague, Qigong Master Dr. Effie Chow for added perspective.

Chow points out that water in Qigong is one of the Five Elements of Life. The other elements are wood, fire, earth and metal. Each of these elements controls a different part of the body and a different emotion. Water is the element that integrates all of the other elements and prevents dehydration of the body. Chow explains a subtle, additional distinction about air. Air, Chow teaches, is not an element because it exists everywhere and can’t be isolated. If each of the five elements are to benefit health and the human body, they require air, liquid water and atmospheric water vapor. Yes, all of the elements need to breathe.

Klyene, founder and director of Bio-Logic Aqua® Water Life Science® and the host of the nationally syndicated radio program, The Sharon Kleyne Hour Power of Water, Global Climate Change and Your Health on VoiceAmerica sponsored by Nature’s Tears® EyeMist®, teaches breathing exercises to anyone who wishes to improve health. Ideally, one should breathe in through the nose from the diaphragm to a count of 10, pause momentarily, then slowly exhale through the mouth to a count of ten. Practicing this for fifteen minutes each day will bring overall improvement to daily breathing and overall health.

Kleyne encourages a steady awareness practice such as Qigong, Tai Chi or yoga. Kleyne urges everyone to drink eight to twelve glasses of fresh, pure water a day to supplement body water vapor lost to the natural process of evaporation, and to mist the skin several times a day with her company’s Nature’s Mist® Face of the Water™ to replenish water vapor and restore dry skin with the breath of life. Kleyne’s research center has also developed a new technology, Nature’s Tears® EyeMist®, which is unique on the global market. The product is specifically designed to replace and supplement lost tear film moisture. These products contain Trade Secret tissue culture grade 100 percent pure water and no additives. They are delivered to the skin and eyes in the form of a patented micron-size mist from a personal, portable hand-held humidifier that is fun and easy to use. Now the breath of life is in the air you breathe and at your fingertips.

Water Activist Kleyne Disputes Energy Solutions

Windmills Change the Atmosphere Says Kleyne. Solar Panels Disrupt Atmospheric Balance & Increase Dehydration.

In the wake of the devastating hurricanes that have battered Texas and Florida, water advocate Sharon Kleyne, host of the nationally syndicated radio program, The Sharon Kleyne Hour Power of Water, Global Climate Change and Your Health on VoiceAmerica sponsored by Nature’s Tears® EyeMist®, applauded the many examples of compassionate assistance involving not only first responders and other emergency personnel, but also fellow victims and volunteers from far-flung locations. On the air recently, Klyene reminded listeners that “Earth has emotions just like us as it interacts with the solar system. For 11 years I’ve been teaching you about the power and life of water,” Kleyne continued, “and with these hurricanes we’re certainly experiencing the power of water!” Yet, she also called into question human inventions such as solar panels and windmills, which change the atmosphere and affect its water vapor.

On the plus side, Kleyne reminded everyone that life on earth must have water from the atmosphere’s water vapor. It’s this earth water vapor, which has not been researched enough, that keeps all life on earth alive. From the moment we leave our mother’s watery womb, we begin to breathe in the water vapor of earth’s atmosphere, which is essential to all living forms. We also begin a natural process of water evaporation that continues until we die. In order to live a long, healthy life, we must regularly (several times a day) supplement and replenish our body water vapor with fresh, pure water. Despite this fact, Kleyne warned that dehydration (the lack of sufficient water in the body) is widespread and affects as much as 90 percent of the population of the United States. Kleyne pointed out that research indicates that dehydration is the factor in most diseases, including aging, which is evaporation, and stroke.

An internationally respected water researcher and educator for more than two decades, Kleyne cautioned against quick fixes to the water issues that confront us. She claimed that opposing groups get wrapped up in politics and trying to prove that one side or another is right rather than working together to find new technology solutions to our water crisis. Kleyne believes those solutions will involve new water technology, but first we will need extensive new research.

In Kleyne’s evaluation, windmills and solar panels must be studied to better understand the long-term consequences of their impact on the atmosphere’s water vapor. She believes that these devices have been deployed with insufficient research to back up their claims. “The truth,” said Kleyne, “is that windmills and solar panels could be causing over-evaporation of the water vapor in the atmosphere and must be studied. We have to come together to decide how we want to live,” Kleyne continued, “then invest in and discover the research necessary, and develop the new technology that will save the earth for all breath of life.”

Meanwhile, Kleyne urges people to learn how to breathe like the earth breathes by practicing breathing exercises every day and drink 8 to 12 glasses of water a day. She also said that everyone should be aware that one of the results of artificial environments (air conditioning, forced air heating, insulated walls and windows) can be excessive evaporation. Kleyne pointed out that these environments can upset the balance of the earth’s water vapor and even cause illness. These illnesses are individual cases of over-evaporating. Each person must learn to work with their personal water evaporation.

Kleyne cautioned that elderly people run an especially high risk of dehydration due to excessive evaporation of the atmosphere and body water vapor. The elderly tend to consume large amounts of medication, which is dehydrating. Older individuals, especially men, sometimes avoid drinking a lot of water during the day because they don’t want to have to go to the bathroom. Yet, going to the bathroom eliminates toxins from the body. According to Kleyne, dehydration symptoms among the elderly include thirst, loss of appetite, dry mouth, headache, dry skin and eyes, low urine production, fatigue, lethargy, irritability, laziness and depression. Kleyne also stresses that physicians need to learn that they must encourage patients to drink lots of water when taking prescription drugs.

Still, preventing the earth’s dehydration crisis is no mystery. Drink enough water and supplement the atmosphere mist the skin and eyes regularly with pure, fresh water and breathe properly. We must supplement the atmosphere with water mist to slow down the earth’s and the body’s dehydration process.

Sharon Kleyne & Dr. Effie Chow Agree That Water Education Must Expand To Save Earth

Sharon Kleyne & Effie Chow Agree on Earth-saving Research & Holistic Practices. Chow & Kleyne Call on Young People To Lead New Water Research & Education.

International researchers and teachers Sharon Kleyne and Dr. Effie Chow agreed on a recent radio program, the nationally syndicated The Sharon Kleyne Hour Power of Water, Global Climate Change and Your Health on VoiceAmerica sponsored by Nature’s Tears® EyeMist®, that all human life is connected with nature and flows from it. The flow is air, which is moisture in the earth’s atmosphere and is vital to all forms of life. “If you talk about air, you must talk about water,” Kleyne said. “Everyone must learn to breathe as the earth breathes.” Kleyne would love to see the creation and launch of water science camps in schools. She believes that young people should be encouraged to participate in new water research and the development of new technology by having learning opportunities such as water science camps and being enlisted by water researchers as interns.

As an example, Kleyne cited her research team’s efforts in Bio-Logic Aqua® Water Life Science®. Their invention of Nature’s Tears® EyeMist®, for instance, provides dry eye relief in the form of Trade secret tissue culture grade water that is applied to eyes as a patented micron-size mist from a personal, portable hand-held humidifier. Today, Nature’s Tears® EyeMist® is endorsed by more than 22,000 ophthalmologists and optometrists nationwide and thousands of units are selling in China. Though this original product is the result of new fresh water technology, it also draws on the wisdom, efficiency and spirit of holistic practices such as Qigong, in which Dr. Chow is a Grand Master. Qigong dates back thousands of years.

Especially vulnerable to excessive evaporation and dry eye symptoms are the eyes, which are 99% water. Our eyes are constantly drying out, leading to millions of cases of blindness internationally; until recently, most treated this condition with chemically-based eye drops that offered only temporary relief and actually sometimes contributed to ongoing deterioration. Nature’s Tears® EyeMist® is the only pure, fresh water alternative technology in the world, and it is exactly this kind of invention that Kleyne sees young people creating in the future. Meanwhile, adults should be stepping up and expanding their water education.

Kleyne, also the founder of Bio-Logic Aqua® Water Life Science®, has monitored and researched the global water crisis that threatens life on earth. Kleyne always embraces opportunities to teach children and young people about water. In Kleyne’s experience, children seem to be more open-minded and imaginative. “We should include children and young people in the discussion about ways to provide fresh, pure water to everyone on earth,” said Kleyne. Like longtime colleague and water ally, Dr. Chow, Kleyne believes that we should be vigorously encouraging young people and their teachers to grow in awareness. We should be helping them and encouraging them to discover new technology solutions for this international water emergency that threatens their future and the future of the planet we all call home.

China Partners & Sharon Kleyne Battle Dry Eye Disease

China’s Air Quality Crisis Sparks Dry Eye Epidemic. Nature’s Tears® EyeMist® in China Provides Relief for Millions of Dry Eye Sufferers.

Sharon Kleyne, founder of Bio-Logic Aqua® Research Water Life Science® and an international research expert on dry eye disease and eye water evaporation, is well aware of China’s serious dry eye problem. A frequent visitor to China and host of the nationally syndicated radio program, The Sharon Kleyne Hour Power of Water, Global Climate Change and Your Health on VoiceAmerica sponsored by Nature’s Tears® EyeMist®, says that more than 175 million Chinese are currently affected by dry eye disease, with more swelling this number every day.

Kleyne explained that dry eye disease is a disorder of the tear film, which is 99 percent water, as a result of deficient tear production or excessive evaporation. This condition often leads to damage to the ocular system and even blindness. Symptoms include pain, discomfort, headaches, redness, swelling and poor vision. Depression, anxiety, strained home lives and missed days at work are also common in people suffering from dry eye disease. “The prevalence of dry eye in China is 17% of the total population of approximately 1.5 billion people,” Kleyne said. “This means that approximately 38,3000,000 Chinese are going to suffer from dry eye disease in 2017.”

At one time, China’s efforts to clean up its air pollution and deal with other factors contributing to the rise of dry eye disease were frustrated by the lack of a product that could bring sustained relief to sufferers. But cause for frustration greatly diminished when China and Kleyne agreed to bring Nature’s Tears® EyeMist® to the Mainland. Bio-Logic Aqua® Research Water Life Science®’s licensing partners have been working closely with pharmaceutical companies and medical research centers in China and with China’s government to facilitate the launch of Nature’s Tears® EyeMist®, the only product of its kind in the world to supplement the tear film.

Tear film water supplementation is the only purpose of Nature’s Tear® EyeMist®. The product consists of Trade Secret tissue culture grade fresh featuring a perfect pH balance. The water is delivered to the eye in the form of a patented, micron-size mist from a personal, portable hand- held humidifier. The mist droplets emulate natural, unpolluted humidity that the tear film readily absorbs. Kleyne’s Research Center discovered that two to five nanoliters of supplemental water to the eyes will supplement the tear film and soothe dry eye symptoms. If used often enough, Nature’s Tear® EyeMist® will also enhance breathing because of the pure water mist in the immediate atmosphere, an added benefit in air conditions challenged by pollution.

According to Kleyne, the policy of the Government of China is to encourage the availability of personal health protection devices that allow individuals to defend against air pollution while the government works to alleviate the sources of the pollution. Kleyne is proud of Bio-Logic Aqua® Research Water Life Science®’s role in this important collaboration and looks forward to expanding the partnership. In fact, reports from China are encouraging as thousands of units of Nature’s Tear® EyeMist® have been sold in the first weeks of the product’s arrival in the country.

Excessive Evaporation Causes Dry Eye Disease

Water Advocate Kleyne Fights Dehydration of the Eyes. Eyes Must Be Supplemented with Pure Water Says Water Researcher Kleyne.

Bio-Logic Aqua® Research Water Life Science® founder, Sharon Kleyne, has spent more than two decades educating others about dehydration and dry eye disease. Her internationally respected research has led to breakthroughs in the relief of dry eye and understanding the role excessive evaporation plays in a host of illnesses and diseases.

Evaporation is the change in the structure of water from a liquid state into a vapor or gaseous state. All liquid and frozen water evaporates. However, environmental factors such as dry air and warm temperatures accelerate the evaporation process. Evaporation of body water vapor into the atmosphere occurs constantly for all living things. As a result, the objective of living organisms is to slow down the evaporation process by supplementing the lost body water vapor with pure, fresh water. When the rate of water evaporation exceeds the organism’s ability to replace the water, death will eventually occur. You and any other living organism whose body water vapor content has dropped below the optimal level required to maintain healthy body functions is considered dehydrated.

Sharon Kleyne and research center colleagues at Bio-Logic Aqua® Research Water Life Science® have discovered that dry eye is a dehydration disease resulting from accelerated evaporation. The specific role of evaporation in dry eye is explained in the accompanying excerpts from Tear Film and the Treatment of Dry eye Disease, by William D. Mathers, M.D., a continuing education course for pharmacists sponsored by RxSchool.com and Bio-Logic Aqua® Research Water Life Science®. The sections in the book on misting and evaporation were based on unpublished research conducted by Dr. Mathers at Oregon Health and Sciences University – Casey Eye Institute.

Role of evaporation in tear film maintenance

All liquid-to-gas interfaces, according to Dr. Mathers, have a vapor pressure that is temperature dependent and controls the rate of the liquid-to-gas transition. Water, therefore, evaporates into the air until the vapor pressure equilibrates and the air is saturated. This is achieved only when the humidity reaches 100%, which rarely occurs. The surface of the eye (which is 99% water) is subject to evaporative loss that would include the total normal tear production if the surface were not protected by the lipid (oil) layer. A normal lipid layer reduces evaporation extremely effectively, by 95%, and keeps the eye wet.

Measuring evaporation

Evaporation from the ocular surface, Dr. Mathers explains, can be measured by isolating the air around the eye and monitoring the rise in relative humidity. Evaporation will cause the humidity to rise and the rate of rise reflects the evaporation rate. The normal rate of evaporation from the surface of the eye is 15 x 10-2 grams/cm2/second. This was determined from Dr. Mathers’ work, but there has been reasonable agreement between most research groups that have investigated evaporation. A normal tear film evaporation rate is the equivalent of 0.15 microliters per minute. This amounts to 36% of the combined total of tear flow and evaporation in a normal subject, by Dr. Mathers’ estimation. The normal eye loses a relatively small amount to evaporation.

Evaporative dry eye

Evaporation is an important cause of dry eye for two reasons:

1. Some environments are very dry such as deserts, winter air heated to room temperature and airline cabins. Liquid water is most likely to evaporate in the presence of dry air, warm temperatures and wind.

2. Evaporation rates can increase dramatically in some subjects with meibomian gland dysfunction (which produces the lipid layer).

The surface of the eye would quickly dry out were it not for the protective effect of the lipid layer that reduces evaporation. In the normal eye, only a small percentage of tear production evaporates, but in dry eye this can increase to include nearly the total amount produced. Subjects with dry eye that have had both upper and lower punctum occluded usually do not suffer from epiphora (tearing) because all their tears either evaporate or are absorbed by the conjunctiva.

Kleyne, host of the nationally syndicated radio program, The Sharon Kleyne Hour Power of Water, Global Climate Change and Your Health on VoiceAmerica sponsored by Nature’s Tears® EyeMist®, wants everyone to take the time to understand these facts shared by Dr. Mathers. Vision is a precious gift. All of us need to be proactive about our ocular health and we need to know the facts in order to do that well.

Sharon Kleyne & Expert Colleagues Teach Breathing Exercises

Daily Breathing Exercises Improve Health Says Kleyne. Kleyne Says Most People Don’t Know How To Breathe To Stay Healthy.

What does it mean to you to breathe correctly? Is there any such thing? Not many people really think about these questions. They breathe more or less unconsciously because that’s the way they have always done it. After all, breathing is natural, right? Well, yes and no. Breathing is natural, yes, but it is also a great gift from nature. Earth’s atmosphere is rich with life-giving moisture, which we need to breathe in if we want to live and have a healthy life. But all breathing is not equal.

This is what Sharon Kleyne, founder of Bio-Logic Aqua® Research Water Life Science®, wants everyone around the world to understand. As she teaches proper breathing techniques, Kleyne draws for support on the beneficial practices of Tai Chi and Qigong Grandmasters Steven Aung, M.D. and Dr. Effie Chow, Ph.D., RN, LAc(CA), DiplAc(NCCAOM). According to each of these experts, breathing correctly, in concert with these 7,000 year old traditions, can improve health, increase energy and prolong life. Each agrees that correct breathing is one of the most important things one can do to improve and sustain peak health.

Kleyne, also the host of the nationally syndicated radio program, The Sharon Kleyne Hour Power of Water, Global Climate Change and Your Health on VoiceAmerica sponsored by Nature’s Tears® EyeMist®, explains that to breathe correctly, one must inhale slowly through the nose, pause for a few seconds, and exhale slowly through the mouth. This deliberate practice teaches that breathing is primarily a balancing exercise. Like the ocean surf, inhaling draws life energy in; pausing before exhaling allows your body to absorb the moisture in the oxygen; exhaling expels waste and prepares for the next breath. You should practice inhaling from the diaphragm (at the bottom of the ribs) rather than from the chest or shoulders. A good cleansing breath, according to Dr. Chow, should take about 20 seconds: 10 seconds to inhale and 10 seconds to exhale. For most people, a breath lasts only three to five seconds. Aung recommends a minimum of 20 minutes per day of deep breathing exercises.

Breathing is the body’s primary life source and the interface with the surrounding atmosphere, Aung, Chow and Kleyne agree. Water vapor is the conduit between the two. As a result, breathing and water vapor are the two most basic necessities to sustain life on Earth. Lungs could not absorb oxygen without water vapor, Kleyne notes. Eyes and skin also “breathe” by absorbing water vapor and oxygen directly from the atmosphere. Lungs, like the skin surface, urinary tract and bowels, also flush toxins and waste.

Every human activity is performed with more control and energy, less stress, and greater harmony and centeredness when correct breathing technique is applied. The greater one’s skill and mastery over their breathing, the healthier and more successful they will be. The difference can be felt from the very first correct breath. Chow adds. Tai Chi – one of thousands of forms of Qigong – is a martial arts discipline as well as a holistic body and health discipline. Its exercises improve the ability to execute certain controlled martial arts movements. Correct breathing, according to Aung, Kleyne and Chow, is slow and deep and done with the entire body, especially the diaphragm. Infants are born with the ability to breathe correctly, but this skill diminishes as the child matures.

Kleyne, Chow and Aung also agree on the benefits of drinking pure water every day. The body does not expend nearly as much energy flushing and eliminating water as it does, for example, on flushing energy or caffeine drinks. Energy-draining drinks and foods are easily identified, Kleyne notes. They are foods we know are bad for us, either because they are hard to digest or because of high sugar, fat, cholesterol, caffeine or alcohol content.

Kleyne recommends eight-to-twelve full glasses of pure water per day, in addition to all other fluid intake. Tea, non-sugared juices and water with vitamins or slight flavoring added are acceptable choices to supplement one’s daily water. Caffeine, sugar, alcohol and carbonation are dehydrating and cause the body to lose water.

The objectives of Tai Chi and Qigong, everyone agrees, are balance, control and harmony of the body, mind and spirit. Chow observed that Western medicine can perform miracles for a broken body but that traditional ancestral healing is just as important. Each individual must take responsibility for their own health before symptoms develop. Breathing properly is a huge step in the direction of a long and healthy life.
