Cholera in Yemen Makes War Even Worse Says Sharon Kleyne. Water Educator Sharon Kleyne Shares Advice with Yemen.
A cholera epidemic is sweeping Yemen, a war-ravaged country that is barely holding its own in the face of so many life-threatening onslaughts. Sharon Kleyne, host of the nationally syndicated The Sharon Kleyne Hour Power of Water, Global Climate Change and Your Health on VoiceAmerica sponsored by Nature’s Tears® EyeMist® wants Yemenites to know a few facts that might help them fight off the cholera threat.
Kleyne would like them to know that they are only alive because they are able to breathe the living water vapor in the atmosphere. That’s right. The water vapor in the atmosphere is alive just like we are. We cannot live unless we breathe that living water vapor. “We are living, walking sponges,” says Kleyne, “and we need to stay hydrated or we will evaporate unto death. The organs of the body, every single one, are mostly water. The moment we leave the mother’s watery womb and are born,” Kleyne continues, “we begin a process of evaporation that continues until the day we die. If we want to live a healthy life, we need to supplement our body water vapor several times a day.” This is why Kleyne encourages the citizens of Yemen to drink 8 to 10 glasses of water a day, as long as it is clean water. Polluted water carries the threat of cholera. “Get hydrated,” says Kleyne. “Don’t get cholera.”
