Sharon Kleyne Explores Water for Seniors

Sharon Kleyne Says Older People Need To Recharge Their Batteries with Water.

Sharon Kleyne, founder of Bio-Logic Aqua® Research Water Life Science® and radio host of the syndicated Sharon Kleyne Hour Power of Water, Global Climate Change and Your Health radio program on Voice of America, knows that as the body ages, it is more susceptible than ever to loss of water due to over-evaporation.

While pursuing her research in this important area, Sharon Kleyne has opened up a dialogue with Peggy Kinst, a wellness specialist for forty years and a trainer for Ageless Grace (www.agelessgrace.com), to talk about healthier lifestyles and some things that seniors can do to achieve them.

Formerly a Professor of Literature at Northwestern University, Kinst slowly gravitated to her career in health care after receiving a grim diagnosis. She was told that she was suffering from a serious intestinal disease, and her prospects were not good. Refusing to accept this grim diagnosis, Kinst took charge of her condition and her health. She began practicing yoga, Nia and Jazzercise. She discovered that music encouraged states of cognition and joy, and she began refining the way she ate, what she ate and how she relaxed. Along the way, she became a certified teacher of free movement dance, a Bio-composition specialist and a Myers-Briggs counselor. Today, at Ageless Grace, Kinst teaches twenty-one movement tools for the twenty-one factors of aging that everyone experiences. Ageless Grace includes 1,600 educators working in seventeen countries and throughout the United States.

Sharon Kleyne describes the challenge older people face with over-evaporation. “Every living thing is like a battery,” Kleyne says. “When the battery loses water, it doesn’t work/ One has to keep recharging the battery. In the same way,” she continues, humans—especially aging humans—must recycle water vapor to complete the connection and receive the benefits of the healthy charge.”

Sharon Kleyne and Kinst are in agreement about the wavy circle of water vapor that surrounds the planet, and the fact that the moment one leaves the watery womb of the mother, one begins to dehydrate. Especially vulnerable are the eyes, which are 99% water. Our eyes are constantly drying out, and until recently, most treated this irritation with chemically-based eye drops and saline solutions that offered only temporary relief and actually contributed to ongoing evaporation. Kinst, is delighted to hear about and endorse Kleyne’s Nature’s Tears® EyeMist®, the only tissue culture grade water applied by a personal hand-held humidifying device emitting a pure, pH balanced, 100% water mist for dry eyes. Nature’s Tears® EyeMist® is endorsed by more than 22,000 ophthalmologists and optometrists nationwide.

Kinst says she looks forward to sharing this and other life-enhancing products from Bio-Logic Aqua® Research Water Life Science® with her clients and fellow trainers. “Older people are always excited to learn that they can change their bodies and their brains,” she said. “They’re like sponges. Every time one tackles a new activity or considers a new idea, the brain begins to build new neural pathways, and this activity staves off dementia, Alzheimer’s and other manifestations of aging.”

“Speaking of sponges,” Sharon Kleyne adds, “I’m reminded that we’re also like them. Dunk a sponge in a bucket of water, then leave it on a table. What happens? The sponge dries out, just like we do when we fail to supplement our evaporating water vapor. This also makes me think of my work with children,” Kleyne says. “Why is it we all feel more relaxed when we stand upright and move our arms away from our bodies? The movement builds collagen and expels the stress hormone Cortisol. Yet, to receive the ultimate benefit of this and other activities, we must be hydrated.”

Sharon Kleyne and Kinst agree that supplementing the body’s water vapor loss due to evaporation is absolutely essential to living longer and improving one’s quality of life. They remind us to drink at least eight-to-ten glasses of water each day, and to protect and replenish the eyes on a daily basis with Nature’s Tears Eye Mist. There is no substitute for the water that supports our lives.
